WELCOME

The Creative Expo Competition is dedicated to rewarding great screenwriting in all genres with industry access, prizes, and recognition.

This year's winning writers will receive a total of $100,000 in Cash and Prizes in over 20 categories. The Grand Prize winner receives $20,000 USD cash, a trip to Los Angeles to attend the Expo, tickets to the Golden Pitch, plus other exciting products and services. Four genre winners (from categories such as comedy, family, indie, and horror) receive $2,500 cash, a trip to LA to attend the Expo, plus additional prizes worth $1,000.

Most importantly, each year dozens of top producers, agents, and development execs ask to read our winning screenplays. As a result, many of our past winners have landed screenwriting assignments, secured representation, and signed option agreements on their work, and several now have movies in various stages of production and release.

Creative Screenwriting and the Expo enjoy a high reputation in the industry, which allows the Competition to call attention to undiscovered writing talent. Winning scripts are "walked" past the gatekeepers who block unsolicited scripts at the major studios, production companies, agencies, and management companies.

First deadline is July 5th, 2010
